Flytende Bolig AS – Floating Villa Travel Experiences

These Travel Terms & Conditions apply to all package tours and experiences offered by Flytende Bolig AS, based on accommodation in our Floating Villa in Bergen, Norway.

By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

Flytende Bolig AS is a registered member of the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund (Reisegarantifondet).

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered binding once we have confirmed your reservation in writing and received the required deposit. All bookings are subject to availability and final confirmation by Flytende Bolig AS.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is made in two installments:

50% deposit upon booking.
50% balance payment no later than 30 days before arrival.

Note: Bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation without refund.

4. Prices & What Is Included

Our package prices normally include:

Accommodation in the Floating Villa.
Activities and excursions as specified in the program.
Selected meals and local transportation as described.
Equipment (e.g., boat, kayaks, SUP boards, jacuzzi where applicable).

Not included unless specifically stated:

Flights and international transport.
Travel insurance.
Personal expenses and optional activities.

5. Changes to Your Booking

Changes by the Guest

Any changes requested after booking must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to charge a change fee and any additional costs incurred.

Changes by Flytende Bolig AS

We reserve the right to make minor changes to itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational reasons. Significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Guest

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following fees apply:

No refund will be given for unused services after the trip has started.

Cancellation by Flytende Bolig AS

In rare cases where we must cancel due to force majeure or insufficient participation, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative.

7. Travel Insurance

All guests must have valid travel insurance covering:

Medical treatment & accidents.
Cancellation and interruption.
Loss or damage of personal belongings.

8. Health, Safety & Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable physical condition for the activities. You must follow instructions given by guides and staff at all times. We reserve the right to refuse participation if safety is compromised.

9. Liability

Flytende Bolig AS acts as an organizer in accordance with Norwegian law. We are not liable for:

Delays caused by weather, strikes, or force majeure.
Losses due to third-party suppliers beyond our control.
Personal belongings lost or stolen during the trip.

10. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

Any complaints must be reported immediately during the stay so that we may attempt to resolve the issue. If not resolved, complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the end of the trip. Disputes are governed by Norwegian law.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with Norwegian and EU GDPR regulations and used only for booking administration and communication.

12. Membership in the Travel Guarantee Fund

Flytende Bolig AS is a member of Reisegarantifondet, securing customer payments in accordance with Norwegian regulations for package travel.
